Week 1 Done! Adepticon 2023, "From the Painters" and Stretch Goals

Hello hello hello!
Once again, thank you all for the amazing support :D It's hard to believe it has only been a week, and, at the same time, it has already been a week. With the new color options unlocked, we are moving forward with that part of the material acquisition, so we can get molds on machines and start production ASAP!

I met Milla and Zee from The Dice Tower this past year at PAX Unplugged while they were exploring the exhibitor hall. I always like how at boardgame conventions people are excited to see a booth for miniature painters. This is what happened when Zee waved Milla over, knowing she would be interested in all the cool painting gear. While Milla works at The Dice Tower this is her personal review of the new gear as a painter!

I took the weekend off from updates to recharge and we go and unlock three of them! That is not a complaint XD You all are amazing! I am working on getting art done for the 55k and 65k goals and will share that as soon as it is ready.

Happy Weekend Friends!
We had a great day three and first half of day four, and have now officially surpassed our Desk Wizard campaign in funding and backers! While that is kind of an arbitrary line, it is really interesting (to me at least) seeing how our different campaigns have performed over their 30 days.

I received a message yesterday asking if I could send a 2 second clip saying just three words to use in a review video. Trusting them completely XD not even questioning the why, I jumped right to "Should I have a sword?" Check out this fantastically fun review from Watch It Paint It!

Hello Friends!
Right as I was shutting the office down to head home today I got an email from Kickstarter... While I get a lot of them since I back a lot of stuff, this email had my own project title as the subject line. Not necessarily concerned, more curious, I sat back down to check it out and lo and behold...
We were selected as a Project We Love by Kickstarter!
This is one of those things you can't do anything to get except run nice, clean, interesting Kickstarter campaign. That is how we like to do things anyways, but ittook5campaigns to snag this distinction, and I am so stoked! Pretty Colors O.O
I am having a lot of fun stepping outside my normal style to make the graphics for this campaign, and Derek and I have been enjoying experimenting with the photo shoots! Fun fact, we actually lit two sets of the brushes on fire for the Phalanx SQUAD fire photo XD
All the colors below except the Red are unlocked and will be available as options in BackerKit.
Once we have everything in hand we can post photos of the final colors, but they are all being made to match the Exemplar Wet Palette PANTONE colors if you are curious.
That's all I have for now! Stay tuned for some more reviews in tomorrow's post once we unlock those free Brush Beams ;D

Hello Friends New and Old,
I am SURE everyone is watching the campaign as closely as I am XD but in case you are not, we have wrapped up our first 24 hours and unlocked three stretch goals!
I am keeping track of all the questions that are asked and changes I need to make, and Derek, our Operations Manger (pictured glowing below) will be in the comments as well helping keep track of things. If I don't address something or something else comes up just let us know and we will be sure to address it!

"I regularly paint in different locations and having a dedicated travel cup is great. I’m not always scrambling to “borrow” a SOLO cup or trying to cut the top off a water bottle. This also encourages me to change my paint water more often than I previously would!
Whilst I love all of Game Envy’s brushes, I’m enjoying this new rounded drybrush. I’m actually using it to lay down areas on light and volume on my minis first, before getting stuck into the details."
The Brush Scrubby fits in and works perfectly with our original Rinse Cup.

First things first...
Now that that is out of the way, I want to welcome all the amazing folks both new and old and thank you for supporting the campaign in its infancy! A lot of me and the rest of the Game Envy team goes into making new and innovative products and bringing these campaigns to life, and I think it is time for me to stop being surprised when we fund so quickly... 90 minutes this time! Let's see how far we can go :D
